Syedi Malekulashter Shujauddin is the third son of Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin and brother of His Holiness Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin. He is the current incumbent to the office of Mukasir al-Dawat, the third office in the Dawat hierarchy, appointed by Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin on June 24th, 2024.

Syedi Shujauddin has resided in the United States of America since 1996 and is the Nominee of Dawat-e-Hadiyah (Texas), a Corporation Sole. He played a foundational role in the establishment of the community centre and masjid in Houston and continues to be deeply involved in the operations of community centres across the United States. As a representative of His Holiness, Syedi Shujauddin interacts with and receives dignitaries and local leaders at social gatherings and community events, building bridges of mutual trust and promoting the message of peace and goodwill.

In 2018, Syedi Shujauddin was appointed as one of the four rectors of Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah, the Dawoodi Bohra community’s premier educational institute. During the institute’s annual viva voce examinations, he engages with students, providing insightful commentaries on various historical and contemporary topics. He is also the head of TKM, a volunteer-run community service organisation of Dawoodi Bohra students and youngsters, established by his father Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin. The volunteer corps actively participates in the organisation and management of sports programmes, community events and other social,  environmental and health programmes throughout the year.
